About Singapore Sleep Conference 2027

Restorative sleep is foundational to human health — underpinning cognitive, cardiovascular, metabolic, and emotional function. As sleep specialists, our mission is to identify and manage sleep disorders that rob patients of this essential pillar of wellbeing.

The Singapore Sleep Conference 2027 is our region’s premier platform to advance this mission. Designed for clinicians across Respiratory Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry, Psychology, Dentistry, Paediatrics, Family Medicine, ENT, Sleep Technology, and allied health, this event features clinical lectures, expert panels, cutting-edge research, and hands-on workshops covering the full breadth of sleep medicine and OSA management in adults and children.

The Singapore Sleep Society is dedicated to promoting awareness of sleep’s vital role in overall health through its educational initiatives. Its public programmes empower Singaporeans to recognise signs of sleep disorders and seek timely medical care at specialised sleep clinics. For healthcare professionals, the Society provides education to strengthen the diagnosis and management of common sleep conditions. In addition, its members are actively engaged in research aimed at advancing the understanding of the epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of sleep disorders.

Academy of Medicine, Singapore
Chapter of Sleep Medicine Physicians

The Academy of Medicine, Singapore, is a professional institution formed in 1957 by medical and dental specialists devoted to advancing the art and science of medicine in Singapore through postgraduate specialist training; maintenance of high standards of competency and ethical integrity through continuous professional development as well as dissemination of information and knowledge to the public on matters related to health.

 

The AMS Chapter of Sleep Medicine Physicians was formed in 2022 by AMS members who have completed formal fellowship training in Sleep Medicine. The Chapter’s mission is to provide advisory opinion on the training and credentialing requirements needed for Sleep Medicine Physicians, set accreditation standards for sleep laboratories and diagnostic sleep service providers, provide input and expert opinion on matters related to sleep health and sleep disorders, as and when the need arises, and to contribute to professional development and education in the field of Sleep.

The College of Psychiatrists was officially formed on 5 November 2014 under the umbrella of Academy. Formerly, the Chapter of Psychiatrists, which was formed in 1986, now as a College, it continues to provide professional leadership, continuing education in psychiatry, and advocacy for quality care and safe clinical psychiatry practice. The College also provides recommendations to the Academy on specialist qualification and training, and Fellows of the College serve on national specialist training committees and academic programme committees.
